EMPLOYEES OF THE FACULTY OF PHYSICS AND ELECTROENERGETICS TOOK PART IN THE COMMEMORATION CEREMONY OF MARTYR SEYFADDIN BALAGHAYEV
The Day of Remembrance of our martyr Balaghayev Seyfaddin Vahid oglu, who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended with the Great Victory, was held in Shabran on October 9.
At the commemoration ceremony, the following people took part: officials of the District Executive Power, family members of the martyr, veterans, public figures and employees of the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics of Sumgayit State University, where he graduated - Deputy Dean, Senior lecturer K.R. Hajiyeva, Head of the Department of Solid State and Semiconductor Physics Professor M.M.Zarbaliyev, Head of the Department of Physics and its Teaching nethods Associate Professor F.A. Mammadov, Head of the Department of Electromechanics Associate Professor T.K.Huseynov, Head of the Department of Electrotechnics and Energetics Associate Professor N.M.Hajibalayev, Senior lecturer of the Department of Electrotechnics and Energetics S.M. Jabbarova, teacher of the Department of Electromechanics K.A. Aghakhanova, tutor T.S. Alakbarova and students.
First, the grave of the martyr was visited in the Shabran region, and wreath and flowers were laid on his grave, his memory was commemorated.
The ceremony focused on the heroism of the mighty Azerbaijani Army, which fought heroically during the 44-day Victory March. It was noted that under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, our lands were liberated from the enemy. The glorious history of Azerbaijan was written with the blood of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives and showed real heroism. The heroes who were martyred for this cause will always live in the hearts of our people.
It should be noted that 23-year-old Seyfaddin Balagayev was in active military service at the beginning of the Patriotic War. The young hero, who took part in the war from the first day, was martyred in the battle for Fizuli.
