OUR EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATED IN THE TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION MASTERCLASS
On October 13, the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Ministry of Education and the international organization Times Higher Education held a MasterClass on ratings and branding for higher education institutions of our country.
The event was hosted by Baku State University, which for the first time in the history of the country in the ranking system of world universities conducted by Times Higher Education.
The main purpose of the MasterClass is to analyze the results of the world university rankings for 2022, national and regional trends, productivity and cooperation in research, the importance of sustainable development goals, global branding and marketing, and also to convey the support of Times Higher Education to Azerbaijani higher education institutions on those issues.
The leading guest of the event, which was also attended by the rector of Baku State University Elchin Babayev, was Lachin Tahmazova, regional director of Times Higher Education, and Phil Baty, who joined the event online from the organization"s UK office.
From Sumgayit State University, the event was attended by Sadagat Fatullayeva, Head of the International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department, and Narmin Hasanova, methodologist of the Evaluation and Quality Assurance Department.
