THE INTER-FACULTY SPORTS COMPETITIONS ON THE OCCASION OF VICTORY DAY SUMMED UP AT SSU
In connection with the Victory Day on November 8, in accordance with the plan of a series of events at Sumgayit State University, inter-faculty sports competitions started on October 25. Students of Sumgayit State Technical College under Sumgayit State University and SSU competed in 3 types of sports (table tennis, checkers and chess). It should be noted that 8 teams tested their skills in the competition.
The inter-faculty sports competitions were summed up on October 27. On table tennis, the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology took the 1st place, the Faculty of Mathematics took the 2nd place, the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics took the 3rd place, on chess the Faculty of Mathematics took the 1st place, the Faculty of Physics and Power Engineering took the 2nd place, the Faculty of Economics and Management took the 3rd place, on checkers, the Faculty of Mathematics took the 1st place, the Faculty of History and Geography took the 2nd place, and the Faculty of Philology took the 3rd place.
