A GROUP OF STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY TOOK PART IN THE “I SUMGAYIT BOOK EXHIBITION” IN SUMGAYIT DEDICATED TO THE VICTORY DAY
"I Sumgayit Book Exhibition" was held in Sumgayit on October 30-31. Teymur Samadov, First Deputy Mayor of Sumgayit, MPs Tahir Mirkishili, Ganira Pashayeva, Arzu Naghiyev, writers, heads of several organizations and intellectuals took part in the book exhibition organized by the Azerbaijan Publishing House Public Union at the “Kimyachi” Culture Palace in Sumgayit.
More than 30 publishing houses and about 10 bookstores of the country took part in the exhibition dedicated to the Victory Day. Up to 50% discount on books was applied by all publishing houses at the exhibition. At the same time, presentations, signing ceremonies, poetry evenings, fairy tale hours for children were held with the participation of famous poets and writers during the exhibition. An exhibition of works by artists was also organized.
It should be noted that the dean of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Sumgayit State University and a group of students and teachers took part in the exhibition.
