A GROUP OF STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT COMMEMORATED THE MARTYRED STUDENTS AND GRADUATES
On November 4, in connection with Victory Day, a group of teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics and Management visited the memorial built for the martyrs and laid flowers in front of the monument. The souls of our martyrs who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of our homeland were commemorated with a minute of silence.
Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Aynura Yahyayeva spoke about the historical significance of Victory Day. She noted that the Patriotic War, which began on September 27 and lasted for 44 days and resulted in the liberation of our occupied territories, has become the brightest page of our history, a source of pride of the Azerbaijani people. As a result of his 17-year policy, President Ilham Aliyev has turned Azerbaijan into a winner in a conflict that has lasted for nearly 30 years. Our territorial integrity has been unequivocally confirmed. This victory is a glorious, historic victory of the Azerbaijani people. The victory was achieved with the determination of our Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the strength of the Azerbaijani army. Every citizen of Azerbaijan has a deep respect for the martyrs. We are proud of our brave brothers and sisters who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of the Motherland and thus became a symbol of courage.
