SSU REPRESENTATIVE PARTICIPATED IN THE PRESENTATION OF THE STUDY
On November 16, Landmark Plaza hosted a presentation of a study organized by the National Erasmus + Azerbaijan Office to measure the impact of EU-funded capacity building projects in Azerbaijani higher education institutions.
The main purpose of the event was to inform about the new requirements, priorities, and future prospects of international projects funded by the European Union for the next year.
Opening the traditional presentation, Parviz Baghirov, Head of the National Erasmus + Office, greeted the representatives and participants of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and spoke on “Measuring the Impact of the Past while focusing on the Future” Erasmus + Azerbaijan (2014-2020) and next generation program overview (2021-2027).
At the same time, the results of the study emphasized that the implemented projects are a tool for the development of higher education in Azerbaijan, gaining international experience of local specialists, and assessing the adaptation of Azerbaijani higher education institutions to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area.
The event was attended by representatives of higher education institutions, government agencies, civil society, and other Erasmus + stakeholders.
Sumgayit State University was represented at the meeting by Sadagat Fatullayeva, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students.
