FOREIGN STUDENTS STUDYING AT SSU TOOK PART IN THE “GREEN MARATHON” TREE-PLANTING CAMPAIGN DEDICATED TO VICTORY
On November 20, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, IDEA Public Union jointly organized a "Green Marathon" tree-planting campaign dedicated to Victory in Khojasan settlement.
The tree-planting campaign, which was also attended by the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev, was attended by heads of relevant agencies and heads of relevant departments, foreign students studying in our country, representatives of higher education institutions, graduates of the "State Program 2007-2015". Representatives of the State Migration Service and the Agency for International Development Assistance (AIDA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also joined the marathon.
More than 100 foreign students from various universities in the country took part in the tree-planting campaign to improve the environmental situation, increase greenery, as well as increase the networking and social activity of foreign students, and promote the education of foreigners in Azerbaijan.
Representative of Sumgayit State University Natavan Guliyeva from the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students and a group of foreign students participated in the campaign: Turkish citizen Fatih Ulger (psychology, 4th year), Georgian citizens Avilov Orkhan (electrical engineering, 4th year), Bairamova Elana (Mathematics teacher, 3rd year), Bairamov Eltun (Process Automation Engineering, I course).
At the end, the participants expressed their good impressions and took a photo.
