THE ENACTUS TEAM OF SSU WAS WORTHILY REPRESENTED AT THE II FORUM OF YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
The Second Forum of Young Entrepreneurs was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) and the Public Council under the SMBDA at the Baku Congress Center on December 10. Representatives of relevant government agencies and youth organizations , as well as young people engaged in entrepreneurship and interested in this field.
The forum began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the event, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov informed about the successful youth policy implemented in our country and the work done in this area.
Chairman of the Board of SMBDA Orkhan Mammadov shared his views on the promotion of entrepreneurship among young people, opportunities created to support their entrepreneurial initiatives and the services of SMBDA in this area, emphasizing the importance of the forum.
President of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mammad Musayev spoke about the activities of the organization and the support provided to entrepreneurs.
Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation Farid Jafarov informed the participants about the work done by the Foundation to develop the knowledge and skills of young people, as well as to support relevant initiatives and projects in various forms. Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Tahir Mirkishili stressed the importance of projects of young entrepreneurs, development of social entrepreneurship and youth initiatives in the field of high technology for the country"s economy.
Mustafa Abbasbayli, Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, noted the importance of the self-employment program for young people to start entrepreneurship, and informed about the projects implemented by his organization to ensure self-employment.
Farhad Garashov, Chairman of the Public Council under SMBDA, noted that the Forum was organized for the second time to promote entrepreneurship among young people, to inform them about the existing state support mechanisms, to study their views and suggestions.
During the panel discussions, officials of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, the State Customs Committee, SMBDA, the State Employment Agency and the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation informed about the activities of their organizations and answered questions.
It should be noted that the Enactus team of Sumgayit State University was worthily represented at the Forum. Our university was represented by the captain of the Enactus team of Sumgayit State University Shafa Isayeva.
