He noted that 2021 was a successful year for our country. This year, our people celebrate the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis with great enthusiasm. The determination of the President of Azerbaijan, Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the joy of the holiday in our eternal lands liberated from occupation by the power of our glorious Army 30 years later, our lands destroyed and restored by the enemy covered in another merriment. The celebration of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis in 2021 in the lands liberated from the enemy is one of the most glorious and proud days in the history of the independent Azerbaijani state.

On the eve of the holidays, the rector once again remembered the unforgettable memory of our martyrs, congratulated their parents, family members, fighters who lost their health for the Motherland, veterans, and current personnel, wished them good health and success in their service.

Then the rector informed the participants about the issues on the agenda and spoke about the work done to prepare for the exam session of the autumn semester of 2021-2022 academic year. He said that the Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev signed an order on the organization of the examination session of the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year in higher and secondary special education institutions. According to the order, the examination session of the autumn semester of the current academic year will be held in person at these educational institutions from January 3, 2022. Necessary measures are being taken in this direction at Sumgayit State University, and one of the most important issues in focus today is the "Guidelines for the prevention of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) during examinations", as well as approved by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 332 of September 10, 2020 He noted that everyone should follow the "Temporary Rules for the organization of the teaching and learning process in educational institutions operating in the Republic of Azerbaijan during the special quarantine regime."

Chairman of the Teaching Methodological Council, Associate Professor Musa Mustafayev and Head of the Quality Assurance Department Narmin Hasanova informed about the results of open lessons held in academic groups.

According to the approved schedules, it was also considered expedient to hold open classes in academic groups in an off-schedule form by the Teaching Methodological Council. Heads of departments and deans of faculties were instructed to ensure strict control in order to further increase the effectiveness of lessons.

Vice-Rector for Economic Affairs Naib Hajiyev spoke about the payment of students' tuition fees. He noted that the deans of the faculties were instructed to ensure the payment of tuition fees as soon as possible.

Narmin Hasanova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, informed about the analysis of the survey conducted by the Education Quality Assurance Agency of the Ministry of Education among SSU students and the results of the survey conducted by the Quality Assurance Department among the academic staff. He noted that the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Education conducted a survey among 872 undergraduate students and 37 graduate students of SSU at the master's level. 80% of respondents answered positively to the questions. Narmin Hasanova also noted that the Quality Assurance Department of SSU conducted a survey among 367 academic staff. The results of the survey were positive.
