InSumgayit State University, one of the higher institutions of Azerbaijan contributing to the development of society’s intellectual potential appropriate works are being done  due to the order of  Ministry of  Education of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 27 June, 2014.
In September- December organizational works were  implemented in Sumgayit State University. And the structure of Students’ Research Societywas formed again.
At present Students’ Research Society of SSU includes more than 550 students willing in investigation. To provide close collaboration with the faculties and departments leaders were appointed for SRS. Our first practice and account Seminar materials collection of Students’ Research Society of Sumgayit State University was published as a result of students’ scientific works carried out during  the academic year. The collection includes 78 lectures from 7 faculties, 44 departments and 6 research laboratories of the university.
Presentation of seminar materials collection of Students’ Research Societywas held in “HaydarAliyev Centre” for this aim. 
The Rector of the University, professor ElkhanHuseynov stated in his speech that the practice of the developed countries proves that only the states where educational system is in higher level make progress thoroughly. The development in our education now is the result of our national leader HaydarAliyev’s attention and care.
The Rector stressed that publication of such collections reveals students’ scientific potential and creativity.
Vice-Rector of the university on Scientific and Innovation Affairs professor RamazanMammadov stated that the base of the successful development is knowledge. Its creator, carrier and  applier is a man. And that’s why for achieving and application of knowledge the main factor is education.
The chief of SRS, associate professor Islam Pashayevreported that the main purpose of these seminars is to help students. Our today’s success is the conclusion of range seminars we held.
The students’ questions were replied and discussed in the seminar. They thanked the rector for publishing their first seminar article as a collection and asked him to sign.
