OUR STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE MEETING ENTITLED "JANUARY 20 - IN THE MEMORY OF WITNESSES"
The meeting entitled "January 20 - in the memory of witnesses" was organized on January 18, within the framework of the "Target 5%" program under the Student Youth Organization of SSU, GIKM Sumgayit Representation and the Heydar Aliyev Center.
Vusala Gurbanova- director of the Heydar Aliyev Center in Sumgayit, Sevinj Gasimova- director of GIKM Sumgayit Representation , Tayfun Hajili, chairman of SSU TGT, Abulfaz Mamedov and Etibar Mammadov, witnesses of the January 20 events, made a speech at the meeting. They spoke about the incident happened in Baku the night 19th of January to 20th and the people's struggle for national freedom and territorial integrity. A video based on fragments of the event was also presented to the participants.
