THE MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORTS MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS IN SUMGAYIT
On January 24, in Sumgayit, the Minister of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov met with representatives of youth organizations working in the field of intellectual development.
The meeting, held at the Sumgayit Youth House, was attended by leaders of eight youth organizations, as well as youth associations operating in Sumgayit.
The Minister first got acquainted with the activities of the Sumgayit Youth House and inquired about the conditions created there.
During the conversation, the interest of young people in the intellectual movement in our country was noted. The leaders of the cheerful and witty clubs informed about the competitions they participated in and their successes abroad. Representatives of the organizations operating in the field of computer games said that the movement is rapidly developing around the world and our country is actively represented in these processes.
Chairman of the Student Youth Organization of Sumgayit State University Tayfun Hajili spoke about the state care provided to young people and gave detailed information about the activities and achievements of the organization.
The meeting stressed the importance of implementing systematic work in this area, especially to increase and support initiatives in the regions, and said the importance of cooperation between non-governmental organizations and local youth and sports departments. The development of the relevant applications for the effective direction of youth activities in the virtual field, as well as the issue of organizing camps were discussed.
