Trainings on "Registration in ORC ID, Reseacher ID and Author ID systems and obtaining individual ID codes" started at SSU
On March 30, Sumgayit State University hosted a training on "Registration of ORCID Inc. in the Open Researcher and Contributor ID system and obtaining individual ID codes."
The event was organized in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the Strategic Development Plan of SSU. The head of the scientific department, associate professor Samir Orujov informed the audience about the work to be done in the field of science in order to take a worthy place of our university in the international rating systems ARWU, QS, THE. Among these jobs are the placement of scientific publications of SSU in Scopus, Web of Sciense scientific databases and the membership of our publishing house in the Committee on Publishing Ethics (COPE). In this regard, the participants were informed about the need for the university faculty and editorial staff to register in the Orc ID, Reseacher ID and Author ID systems and obtain individual ID codes.
The mentors of the faculty who participated in the training were instructed to share their knowledge with the faculty staff and mentors of the department.
The trainings are planned to be held on a regular basis.
