Sumgait State University is the author of many successful projects in improving  the quality of education in recent years.  One of them is the development of international relations in the program Erazmus+ and get achievement within this  program. 
The competition of Erazmus+ program was held in education, training, youth and sport sections  of the  European Union provided  for 2014-2020 years.  The results of the competition of increasing the capacity of the higher education sector were announced.  The project  on theme “The energy and environmental efficiency of buildings, professional Bachelor in  open and distance learning format " was granted to the project. As its name suggests, the main objective of the project is energy and environmental efficiency of the buildings on the format of full-time and distance education specialists working in the production of professional training to develop and improve their professional Bachelor.
In this project will be:  the project director of the International Arts and Crafts CNAM national conservatory in Paris (France); Technical Coordinator: Training and qualification for employment in the public interest group GIPFIPAG (France); Quality Expert: razvitiye Tsentar za na i vnedryavane CRVEP evropeiski practical Ltd Sofia (Bulgaria); expert on distance education: International Telematics University UNINETTUNO in Rome (Italy); European expert: Azerbaijan referent:  National conservatory management Association of in Lyon (France) for mastery of Ron ALP and art ; Referent for China: the University of Seville (Spain); Referent for Russia: Technology, economics and culture High School, Leipzig (Germany); resource partners: Degli Studi Torino Polytechnic Institute and the University of Pavia (Italy).
As academic project partners  from  Azerbaijan will take part  - Azerbaijan Technical University (the coordinator by Azerbaijan),  Azerbaijan Architecture and Construction University and Sumgait State University; China's Harbin Institute of Technology (the coordinator by China), Dalian Institute of Technology and Beijing University of Technology; Russia's Far Eastern Federal University (Yakutsk, coordinator by Russia), Siberian Transport University (Novosibirsk), Tuva State University (Kizil), Irkutsk State Technical University (Irkutsk), the Far East Federal University (Vladivostok), Vocational and Technical Education of the State Committee (Yakutsk), and State Mining University (Yekaterinburg).
The project is scheduled to start on October 15, 2015. The total project duration of 36 months, the total budget is € 999 200.
