On April 22, a group of deans, professors and teachers of the faculty of Chemistry and Biology, Physics and Power Engineering and Engineering, organized by the Faculty of Economics and Management of SSU took part in the event organized in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park.

Yadullah Babayev  Acting Head of the Vocational Education Center of the Economic Zones Development Agency greeted the event participants. It should be noted that the heads of many of the 25 residents included in the Economic Zones Development Agency - Azertechnoline LLC, SOCAR Polymer LLC, AzerFloat CJSC, Baku Non Ferrous and Foundry Company LLC, MST Engineering Services LLC , “SIKA” LLC and others attended the event.

A presentation  was demonstrated of the State Employment Agency's entrepreneurial support services to residents of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency. Kanan Bagirov head of the Department for Work with Vocational Training Centers of the State Employment Agency “The organization of vocational training by the state order on the basis of the principle of per capita financing and the advantage of the program for employers ", Adil Abdullayev, head of the department of Social Measures “Support to employers within the framework of social enterprises and targeted programs, Togrul Turabov chief specialist “Financing a part of employees' salaries in social workplaces by the State Employment Agency through unemployment insurance”, Elshan Shahverdiyev head of Analysis and Partnership Department of Absheron-Khizi RMF  “ Recruitment and joint cooperation on the basis of referrals on the vacancy bank ” made presentations.

Aynura Yahyayeva dean of the faculty of Economics and Management spoke about the importance of the event. He said that proposals were expected from the executives of the residents included in the Economic Zones Development Agency to be admitted to modern specialties, taking into account the requirements of the labor market, and in this regard, Azerkimya PU was already cooperating with the Ethylene-Polyethylene factory. An exchange of views on the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park and SSU on the example of the Agency for the Development of Economic Zones was held in the future.

At the same time, negotiations were held with SEA officials to sign an agreement between the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and SSU. Aynura Yahyayeva noted that to date, the Department of Business Organization and Management has already cooperated with the SEA on one event.

After the speeches, the employees of SSU presented their proposals to the officials of SEA. Mahal Muradov dean of the faculty of Chemistry and biology, suggested that the graduation groups be given the opportunity to undergo internships at enterprises that submit reports to the SEA, and that the most talented students remain in those institutions in the future. The heads of the structural units of the SEA reacted very well this proposal, and even voiced their views on the possibility of paying money  to students during their internship.

Tamella Ahmadova, dean of the faculty of Physics and Power Engineering, expressed her opinion on the expediency of holding vocational training courses in certain specialties at SSU.
