A memorandum was signed between SSU and APFM
On April 26, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the faculty of Economics and management of Sumgayit State University and the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers which operated as a Professional Accountant Organization accredited by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The event was opened by the head of the department of Finance and Accounting associate professor Logman Abdullayev who greeted the guests and participants. Logman Abdullayev comprehensively commented on the special importance of signing a memorandum covering bilateral cooperation.
In his speech, the dean of the faculty of Economics and management associate professor Aynura Yahyayeva expressed satisfaction with the expansion of cooperation between SSU and APFM and spoke about the importance of the memorandum signed between the two institutions. He noted that Sumgayit State University played an important role in the formation of national consciousness, patriotic education of young people, training of professionals.
Nuriya Novruzova chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers thanked the leadership of Sumgayit State University on behalf of the staff for the conditions created for comprehensive cooperation. Nuriya Novruzova spoke about the contribution of this cooperation to the development of our state and education and wished success to both sides.
It was noted at the event that the main purpose of the memorandum was to increase the professional knowledge of the parties on economics, finance, accounting and tax legislation, conduct research on various topical issues, joint events, consultations and examinations, exchange information, establish regional and international relations to unite their efforts to expand the professional capabilities of each, to develop and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
The event was attended by APFM vice-chairmen Rauf Rzayev, Rashad Asgarov, APFM Education Committee chairman Sevil Babayeva, senior lecturer of the department of Business Organization and Management Sakhavat Mammadova, senior lecturers of the department of Finance and Accounting Bakhtiyar Davudov, Mehman Ahmadzadeh head of the World Economy and Marketing Department. Almaz Hamidova and students of the faculty Nuriya Huseynova, Namig Najafov spoke and expressed their views on the importance of the bilateral agreement to be signed. They thanked the directory of Sumgayit State University and APFM for the created conditions.
