The winners of the "Pearls of Shusha culture" drawing and handicraft competition were awarded
Prizes were given to the winners of the "Pearls of Shusha Culture" the competition of students' drawings and handicrafts dedicated to the "Year of Shusha" at Sumgayit State University Great Assembly Hall on May 25.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Elmar Khalilov vice-rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations said that the competition was organized as a part of the "Year of Shusha" to develop the skills of our students to reflect the sights of Shusha, the crown of Karabakh.The competition will reveal talented young people and create a basis for the development of their creative potential, the vice-rector spoke about the work done to develop the creative skills of young people.
In the end, the vice-rector congratulated the winners on rhe behalf of the rector of the university professor Elkhan Huseynov and awarded them with an honorary diploma.
We should note that more than 30 paintings and handicrafts were demonstrated in the competition which was attended by 33 students from different faculties of the university. According to the final results of the competition, the first place was taken by the third year student of the faculty of Engineering Jeyran Mammadova and the third year student of the faculty of Chemistry and biology Malak Bayramova, the second year student of the faculty of Economics and Management Nurana Abbasova, the second year students of the faculty of Economics and Management Anar Guluzade and Sakhavat Jabbarli were awarded.
