On May 26, the international rating organization Times Higher Education (THE) held an online session entitled "Academic Salon 2022 - Global Britain: Scientific superpower for a new era". The event was dedicated to the use of innovation regions to stimulate regional growth, ways to unlock economic and social transformation in the north of the country, the role of international cooperation for future innovations, the impact of international trade regulation on innovation, entrepreneurship and innovation for the purpose of partnership for regional development.
UK university leaders, researchers, industry and government representatives spoke at each session of the Academic Hall. The focus of the five-session webinar was to showcase the UK government"s position as a world-leading research science and technology superpower.
Sadagat Fatullayeva, head of the department of International cooperation and foreign students of Sumgayit State University participated in the webinar.
