Our student was awarded "The heart was not separated from the soul!"( “Ayrılmadı könül candan!”) in the story and essay competition
On May 25, the Monitoring Center under the State Language Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the "Year of Shusha" announced among the students of philology and journalism faculties of higher education institutions the final event of the story and essay competition was held "The heart was not separated from the soul!".
Speaking at the event, professor Sevinj Aliyeva, director of the Monitoring Center said that holding story and essay competitions among students of philology and journalism faculties is especially important in educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, as well as demonstrating their knowledge, skills and creative abilities. Congratulating the winners and participants of the competition, Sevinj Aliyeva conveyed her recommendations on the protection of the purity of the Azerbaijani language, our national and spiritual values in the future and wished them success.

We should note that from 53 essays and writing submitted to the competition 10 authors were selected as the winner and awarded. Ravana Karimova, a first-year student of the faculty of Philology, group 942 represented our university in this competition with the story "Karabakh is the cradle of Azerbaijani music." Her essay was included in the top ten and was among the best essays.
Sumgayit State University was awarded a special letter of gratitude by the Monitoring Center for its services in educating the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and Azerbaijani ideology, instilling in students love for the Azerbaijani language, which is our national identity.
