Winners of the Subject Olympiad were awarded which held at the faculty of Mathematics on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of SSU
On May 27, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the Olympiad among Mathematics students of I-III courses was held dedicated to the 60th anniversary of SSU organized by the faculty of Mathematics.
First, the dean of the faculty of Mathematics, associate professor Khalida Hasanova greeted the participants and spoke about the importance of the Olympiad. He said that the purpose of the Olympiad is to identify talented students, increase students' interest in this subject, to allow them to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a healthy competitive environment.
The dean congratulated the winners, wished them success and awarded them with honorary diplomas and presents.
We should note that only 102 students of I-III courses participated in the Subject Olympiad held at the faculty of Mathematics. According to the final results of the competition, Asif Khalafov a student of group 425 was awarded the first place, Dilshad Aliyeva and Shabnam Isparova students of group 442B were awarded the second place and Safura Ismayilova a student of group 434 was awarded the third place.
