The memory of the martyrs of the Patriotic war was commemorated with a minute of silence
On September 27, the memory of all our martyrs who fought heroically in the Patriotic war and sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute"s silence at 12:00, traffic and pedestrian traffic was stopped on the territory of the country.
On Memorial Day, the administration and student staff of Sumgayit State University paid tribute to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev by lying flowers to the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the lobby of the university. Then they visited the memorial monument of students-graduates who rose to the peak of martyrdom and laid flowers to the memorial monument in the courtyard of the university .
The souls of our martyrs, who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of our country, were commemorated with a minute of silence.
It should be noted that a video depicting the Patriotic war was shown on the monitors in the lobby of the university.
