On October 8,the  Students' Scientific Society (SSS) held a meeting with first-year students of the faculties of Mathematics, Engineering, Physics and Electric Power,  History and Geography in  the assembly hall of the University.
The meeting was opened by speech of the scientific director of SSS-associate professor Islam Pashayev.
Scientific leader  informed about  the well done work of  the organisation in  the last years, noted that the Collection of Seminar Tasks was the first edition among the universities of Azerbaijan; our university was awarded the third place at tenth national competition held among teams of 14 universities on the theme of "Our business activities" - "Enactus".
During the meeting, the Vice Rector for Science and Innovation, Professor Ramazan Mamedov, dean of the Faculty of History and Geography, Professor Adil Bakhshaliyev, scientific leader the SSS Bahram Mammadov, scientific leader from Engineering faculty Shalala Jafarova spoke on the meeting stating about importance  and  priority of  students involving   in science
At the event It was also noted that  on November 9 to 12 members of the Physics and Energy  the fourth year student of the Faculty of Engineering Afsana Askerli,  and Sevda  Suvarova will perform their works at the conference hold in the Russian city of Voronezh.
At the end of the meeting there  was shown the video chart reflecting all activities of  the  Students' Scientific Society.
