THE VICE-RECTOR OF SSU PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT OF THE EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT FUND
On November 25, at the initiative of the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan a meeting was held with Ihsan Sabuncuoglu the rector of the Turkish Education Association (TEA) University at the Azerbaijan Technical University.
The purpose of the meeting was to exchange ideas about innovations in education and to share experience in this field with the educational administrators of the Azerbaijan higher education institutions and the scientific-pedagogical staff of local universities.
The head of the public relations sector of the Ministry of Science and Education Cesarat Valehov participated in the event, spoke about the importance of the event.
Later, I.Sabuncuoglu made a broad presentation on the topic "Changes in higher education: new trends and applications", Elnur Nasibov, chairman of the board of the Education Development Fund, on the topic "Strategic action directions of TIF Higher education". After the presentations, the meeting continued with a question-and-answer session and discussions.
Associate professor Gafar Atayev from Sumgayit State University participated in the seminar.
It should be noted that the Education Development Fund was established as a public legal entity in accordance with the "State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated October 24, 2013.
