On December 2, representatives of the Public Union "Support to the Education of Youth" met with the students of Sumgayit State University.

Opening the event, the university's vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations, associate professor Elmar Khalilov  greeted the guests and participants, and stated that work with youth in Azerbaijan is a main priority in the state policy. Today, we see the close participation of young people in the development of the state and society. Our young people are very active from a social and political point of view. It is gratifying and proud that the number of signatures of youth  in successful projects in the state's administrative and legislative infrastructures is increasing day by day. Today, youth centers operate in different regions of the country and their management is entrusted to young people. In accordance with the state's youth strategy, the use of such spaces, the activities of various institutions and NGOs serve to select the future goals and ambitions of young people. Every society is in great need of intellectual young people. The implementation of such events has a positive effect on the education of young people, increasing their social activities for the development of our country,  their productive participation in events related to the evolution of society, as well as the intellectual development of young people and the formation of independent thinking in them, their free choice in education and career.

General secretary of SYE Aynura Salmanli greeted the participants and gave detailed information about the activity of the " Support to youth education" implemented projects and ways to join the union. She said that the association, founded on August 30, 2012, has guided the scientific, cultural and social development since the first day of its operation and has always supported the representation and protection of the rights of young people in social affairs. Many implemented projects were carried out based on the suggestions and ideas of young people. "Support to Youth Education" Public Union is financed by the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan and clearly shows its support in every project.

Interactive discussions were held at the meeting and students' questions were answered.
