On December 16, the next meeting of the rectorate was held at Sumgayit State University.

Rector of SSU professor Elkhan Huseynov declared the meeting open, greeted the participants and brought to their attention the issues on the agenda.

Director of the Teaching Methodological Center Faig Shirinov and director of Sumgayit State Technical College under SSU associate professor Matanat Pirguliyeva informed about the state of preparation for the exam session of the autumn semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. They informed that preparations for the session of the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year are being continued at the Teaching Methodological Center and all faculties. Some issues have already been completed. So, the list of supervisory coordinators who will monitor the process of the exams was ordered based on the reports of the faculty deans. Exam schedules of all faculties are approved and posted on the notice board. The students assigned to the subgroups were also noted in the examination tables. Reports about the students who will participate in the re-examinations were submitted to the center and taken into account in the examination tables. Exam questions and lecture materials for subjects were delivered to students by subject teachers and placed on information boards of specialty departments.

The rector stated that in accordance with the Order R-55/1 dated 12.12.2022 on the holding of the examination session of the autumn semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, the supervision of the organization of the examination session has been entrusted to the vice-rector for Teaching organization and training technologies associate professor Natig Talibov.

Aybeniz Nuraddinova- head of the department of Statistics and registration gave detailed information about the report of the statistics and registration department of the Teaching methodological center. She noted that supervising of the submission of personal files of students transferred from various universities to the university and submitting missing documents in the personal files of students admitted to Sumgayit State University in the 2022-2023 academic year to the Statistics and registration department was assigned to faculty deans.

Speaking about the state of payment of tuition fees at Sumgayit State University, vice-rector for Economic affairs Naib Hajiyev said that the information about the deficits in the payment of tuition fees is being focused on and the deans of the faculty were instructed to ensure the elimination of those deficits in a short period of time.

After the discussions, appropriate decisions were made and the rectorate"s meeting finished its work.
