A COLLABORATOR OF SSU PARTICIPATED IN THE EURASIA HIGHER EDUCATION SUMMIT
From March 1 to 3, the 8th EURIE Eurasian Higher Education Summit- the largest international educational event in the Eurasian region was held in Istanbul,Turkey Republic. The summit was attended by study abroad and Erasmus coordinators, staff for the international marketing and recruitment, international student advisors of universities, international marketing service providers, study abroad advisors, other stakeholders in the sector and representatives of government agencies.
The purpose of the summit was to create effective networking, academic collaboration and business development opportunities for participating organizations, to share the future of international education with other sector leaders, to discuss and share innovations with them.
The program of the event included various round tables, panels and discussions. A number of universities and organizations from various countries, including Canada, Great Britain, Poland, the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, Pakistan and Turkey joined the summit.
We should say that Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Nakhchivan State University, Khazar University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction also participated in the Summit. Sumgayit State University was represented at the event by Bunyatova Aytan-a lecturer of the department of Foreign languages.
