The first meeting was held within the framework of the REFRESH project
On March 17, a meeting was held with the participants of the project "Green and sustainable global economic improvement in Azerbaijani universities: renewable energy sources and mitigation of climate change" funded by the European Union, in which Sumgayit State University is a partner.
The meeting organized in the online format was attended by the project coordinator Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), representatives of Mingachevir State University, Lankeran State University, Ganja State University, Azerbaijan University of Technology and EU partners Technical University of Denmark, Royal Swedish Institute of Technology and University of Barcelona.
At the meeting, each university gave information about its project team members and talked in detail about the work packages to be done within the framework of this project. After the discussions, it was decided that the date of the European partners' visit to Baku will be April 16-21.
Sumgayit State University was represented at the meeting by Sadagat Fatullayeva, head of the department of International cooperation and foreign students and an employee of the department Aysel Eminova.
The purpose of the meeting was to bring together the project staff of partner universities from local and European countries, to get acquainted with the universities and to determine the date of the Baku meeting of experts from European universities.
