On April 6, employees of the Human Resources Center of the Ministry of Science and Education held a seminar dedicated to the results of the teacher recruitment competition at Sumgayit State University.

The event was attended by director of the Teaching Methodological Center of SSU Faig Shirinov, senior specialist of the Human Resources Center of the Ministry of Science and Education Ulvi Ismayilov, an employee of the department Tukazban Guliyeva, head of the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department Ilhama Abdullaeva and  faculty deans, department heads, and teachers of SSU.

The event was opened by Faig Shirinov, director of the Teaching Methodological Center of SSU noting the importance of the seminar. He mentioned the important role of the competitions organized by the Human Resources Center, as well as the fact that serious work is being done on the recruitment of teachers. Faig Shirinov then gave information about the structural reforms carried out at SSU, as well as the measures taken to train graduates in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. He said that today the main goal of the broad-profile Sumgayit State University is to prepare high-level personnel, including pedagogical personnel, in accordance with the requirements of the modern era.  At the end of his speech, the director of the center thanked the organizers of the seminar and wished success to the participants.

Ulvi Ismayilov-senior specialist of the Human Resources Center of the Ministry of Science and Education made a presentation and gave detailed information about the rules for the recruitment of teachers to general educational institutions and the stages of the competition. It was noted that the purpose of today"s seminar is to provide general education institutions with detailed information about the rules for hiring teachers, the stages of the competition, and to encourage students studying in the last academic year of the higher education institution to participate in the competition. Holding this meeting is important for the graduates to easily solve the problems they will face in the future.

Later, Ulvi Ismayilov brought to the attention of the participants the statistical analysis of the results of the recently held  Recruitment of Teachers (MIQ) exams of students who graduated from SSU with pedagogical profiles. At the same time, he gave information about the legislation related to the recruitment of teachers and reminded of the measures taken to improve the social welfare of teachers.

After the interesting presentation, Tukazban Guliyeva, an employee of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Science and Education, and Ilhama Abdullaeva-the head of the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department clarified other questions of the faculty.

Discussions were held around the presented analysis. It was emphasized that the results of this competition and  analytical analysis will play an important role in the further improvement of teaching, along with future admission plans.
