A Constitution Day and State Flag Day was celebrated in November 11 by initiative New Azerbaijan Party.
The dean of History and Geography faculty professor Adil Bakhshaliyev, deputy dean Osman Hajiyev, the head of philosophy and rights professor Hasan Sadigov, the head of new and the newest history European and American countries professor Shirkhan Salimov, the head of the Azerbaijan History faculty assistant professor Amirkhan Isayev, the chairman of Azerbaijan Trade Union Committee of Sumgait State University Turan Jafarov, and also a lot of teachers and students took part in the event.
Professor Adil Bakhshaliyev congratulated the participants. He began his speech with Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh̕s slogan “A flag once risen, will never fell down”. He also stressed that the love to the people, especially to the young was established by our President Ilham Aliyev.
Then assistant professor Elmar Khalilov congratulate the participants of event on the occasion of holiday. The other speakers, the students Konul Farajli, Leyla Agayeva, Khayal Kahramanov and the chairman of Sumgait State University New Azerbaijan Party Young Union Sama Asadova told about the importance of history of State Flag and Constitution Day.
