A meeting between SSU and RSHU was held in Moscow, Russia Federation
On April 16-22, SSU vice-rector for Science and innovations professor Ramazan Mammadov and associate professor Samir Orujov, head of the Scientific department, were on a business trip in Moscow, Russian Federation, for the purpose of expanding cooperation with РИНЦ e-library НЭБ (Russian Emi Reference Index e-library Scientific Electronic Library). During the visit, they got acquainted with the organization of teaching and scientific activity, technological application of acquired knowledge in several science, innovation and educational institutions located there.
In a meeting held at the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSHU) of the Russian Federal State Budget Higher Education Institution, the head of the International relations department, professor Olga Trofimova, arranged for the students of the RSHU to get experience in the speech environment of the Azerbaijani language at Sumgait State University during one academic semester and to study with the aim of improving their speech skills. These kind of issues were discussed in detail.
The presentation of "Scientific News" magazine of SSU was held at the meeting. Then, an excursion was organized for our employees to the "Museum of Ancient Art" named after Pushkin and "Leonardo da Vinci Museum" created at RSHU.
The president of RSHU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, doctor of sciences in history, professor Yefim Pivovar, received our collaborators, asked to convey his greetings to the rector of SSU professor Elkhan Huseynov, and presented his books about Azerbaijan, and emphasized the importance of the friendship and mutual cooperation between our universities.
Within the framework of the business trip program, our employees also visited the Skolkovo Innovation and Creativity Center established by the "Skolkovo" foundation of the Russian Federation and got acquainted with its activities. Welcoming our employees at the "Skoltex" Institute of Science and Technologies located in Skolkovo, the vice-president of "Skoltex" for science and academic cooperation, professor Grigory Kabatyansky, doctor of physics-mathematical sciences, told about the history of the establishment of the institute, scientific research and educational process.
