On April 27, the National Accountants Forum was held at the Baku Congress Center under the organization of the "Young Accountants" Public Union.

Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the State Examination Center Maleyka Abbaszadeh, representatives of the Public Union of Young Accountants, Youth Fund, Ministry of Finance, State Employment Agency and State Tax Service spoke at the opening ceremony of the forum.

Solmaz Aliyeva, chairperson of "Young Accountants" Public Union, opened the event, greeted the participants and talked about the importance of the forum. She noted that such measures support young accountants and specialists in other professional fields and to contribute reforms aimed at economic development in our country. At the same time, it plays a very important role in the direction of the formation of entrepreneurial habits, the development of the non-oil sector and small business, the application of legislation in the economic sector, accounting and other areas. Currently, a number of steps are being taken in our country to realize the goals of the "Socio-economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026". The main goals of the strategy include the protection of macroeconomic and financial stability, the improvement of mechanisms for increasing the stability and efficiency of the state budget, and at the same time ensuring the sustainable development of human capital.

The moderator of the forum, Mehdi Babayev, director of the Baku Reporting Center, noted the importance of the event and introduced the state representatives and moderators who were invited to panel discussions.

During the panel discussions, the speakers addressed questions to the participants on various topics related to the training of professional accountants in the modern era.

Docent Logman Abdullayev, head of the department of Finance and accounting of the faculty of Economics and management of SSU, tutor Konul Behbudova, laboratory assistants Turkan Seyfullayeva and Aysel Nasirli actively participated in the discussions on the topic.
