A group of 4th-year students of the faculty of Philology of Sumgait State University held open classes in the institutions where they had experience, organized literary-artistic events on various topics, as well as scientific-practical seminars.

On May 2, one of such open lessons was organized in kindergarten No. 39. This open class, which was attended by the management of the garden and the dean of the faculty of Philology, associate professor Sevinj  Hamzayeva, was conducted by Fidan Yusifova, a student of the 927th group studying in pre-school speciality. The lesson fully covered the topic from a scientific and practical point of view. As the topic of the lesson was "Flowers", the intern student applied a very interesting motivation. So, the motivation of the lesson was based on the puzzle, after finding it, the children tried to solve the topic by pasting the corresponding pictures on the board. Later, Fidan Yusifova asked the children questions about plants, flowers, their cultivation and care. The student intern, who organized the lesson with active learning methods, implemented a minute of sports to relieve the children's tiredness.

Intern student Fidan Yusifova organized an open lesson in accordance with the requirements of the day, based on the theoretical knowledge she learned at the university, as well as the experience she gained in practice.

After the open lesson, a discussion was organized on the topic. Esmira Musayeva, the director of the kindergarten who listened to the lesson, said that she was satisfied with the progress and organization of the lesson. The director, who told the student about her wishes, and expressed her special thanks to the university administration, as well as Ms. Sevinj. She emphasized that other students intern, along with Fidan Yusifova, are also responsible, capable and hardworking.

The speech was given to the dean of the faculty of Philology, associate professor Sevinj Hamzayeva. She first mentioned how valuable and in-demand the Preschool specialty is today. The dean emphasized that one of the important tasks performed by the university is to ensure the formation of students studying in this specialty as useful personnel for our country and society, and stated that today's open lesson is an example of how correctly this work is organized. Both as a university and as a faculty, we are always on the lookout for students' education. For this, we are especially grateful to our rector, professor Elkhan Huseynov, who always strives for the development of the university and also supports students in all their advanced work.

At the end, the word was given to Aygun Sattarova, the lecturer of the department of Azerbaijani language and its teaching methodology, the supervisor of the student intern. She also expressed her opinion about the open lesson. The discussion concluded with an evaluation of the student intern.
