On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" organized by the SOCAR "Azerikimya" Production Union and the Sumgayit City Youth and Sports Head Office, employees of offices, enterprises and organizations located in the city of Sumgayit, and with the participation of students of secondary and higher schools , a prize presentation ceremony was held for the winners of the cross-country competition held on the territory of Sumgayit boulevard.
Shahin Safikhanov, an employee of "Sumgayit Technology Park" LLC, who showed great perseverance among men in a sports competition attended by about 200 people, was the first to reach the finish line. Samir Javadov, an employee of "SOCAR-Polymer" LLC, and Ismat Azimzade, a student of Sumgayit State University, shared the second and third places, respectively.
Among women, the representative of NAP Sumgayit city organization Tunzala Süleymanova won the first place in the tournament, students of Sumgayit State University, Zeynab Guliyeva and Nazrin Hasanova, shared the second and third places.
The winners were presented with diplomas, prizes and medals by the Trade Union Committee of "Azerikimya" PU.
Together with the winners of the tournament, the 4th, 5th and 6th place winners among men - Mirnuh Taghili (SSU), Taleh Babayev (Technical college under SSU), Agasif Malikov (SSU), and among women - Fatima Mahmudlu (SSU), Leyla Namazova (NAP Sumgayit city organization) and Sevinj Shafiyeva ("Azerikimya" PU) were awarded diplomas.
