AN ONLINE LESSON RELATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF GREAT LEADER OF HEYDAR ALIYEV WAS HELD AT SSU
According to the decree of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev dated
September 29, 2022, 2023 was declared the "Year of Heydar Aliyev". In this regard, a series of events continues at Sumgayit State University.
An open lesson dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was organized by the teacher of the department of Foreign languages of SSU, Laman Gojayeva, in the 652a group of the faculty of Engineering.
The lesson began with a minute"s silence commemorating the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev. Then our national anthem was played.
Students made presentations on various topics in the lesson which held in English. Students of the group made presentations:Nijat Bayramzade "Heydar Aliyev and independence of Azerbaijan", Ali Gurbanov "Heydar Aliyev and the Azerbaijani language", and Amin Aliyev "Heydar Aliyev"s education policy". Student Shamil Shaniyev made a presentation about the parks, alleys and monuments named after the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in different cities of the world.
Later, teacher Laman Gocayeva spoke about the role of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the development of cities in Azerbaijan, as well as in the direction of the formation of Sumgait.
A presentation and a video showing the visits of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the city of Sumgait during his power to Azerbaijan were demonstrated.
The head of the department of Foreign languages professor Nigar Iskenderova and the lecturers of the department participated in the lesson.
