On May 25, an event was held to present certificates to a group of students of Sumgayit State University for successfully participating in the training of the Career and Psychology Center.

In addition to self-expression of students and their development as highly qualified personnel, special attention is also paid to their participation in extracurricular and other trainings in order to build a successful career in our university. Career and Psychology Center occupied an important place among partner organizations for such events. The participation of a group of students of SSU in the trainings conducted under the leadership of the head of the center, Samir Valiyev, was distinguished by its efficiency.

Training started  at Sumgayit  State University and continued at the Career and Psychology Center for 3 months. 19 of our students who participated in the training were awarded certificates by the Career and Psychology Center for successfully completing the training course.

SSU vice-rector on Social affairs and public relations, associate professor Elmar Khalilov  congratulated the students on successfully completing the training and noted that the tasks facing our university were not only to provide students with high knowledge. The education policy of SSU was aimed at developing a comprehensive personality. Of course, although knowledge and skills are one of the main factors for the performance of tasks, but they are not satisfying because rapidly changing labor market dictates the demand, and it has become an inevitable necessity to take into account the factors determining career advancement. The vice-rector also stated that the establishment of Innovation and Creativity Center in our higher education institution is planned at the initiative of the rector of our university professor Elkhan  Huseynov. This Center will allow students to realize their ideas and projects.

Later, Elmar Khalilov thanked the staff of the Career and Psychology Center for this  cooperation.

Director of Career and Psychology Center Samir Valiyev reminded that cooperation with Sumgayit State University started in 2022 and stated that they are satisfied with the results. In order to evaluate the results of the current year"s trainings, the head of the Center stated that the concept of career score is determined by 10 parameters, and noted that the success index is at least 50 points, therefore he considered 19 students who were awarded certificates as the success of SSU.

Later, the head of Career and graduate employment center, associate professor Amirkhan Isayev stated that our goal was to provide maximum support for our students" future career advancement. He noted the services of the rector of the university, Professor Elkhan Huseynov, in the organization and conduct of this important work.

In September, at the beginning of the new academic year, associate professor Amirkhan Isayev said that the cooperation will continue with new quality contours and once again congratulated the students for the achieved results.

The event ended with the presentation of certificates to the students.
