On May 25, a business meeting was held between the SSU delegation and  Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR. The meeting was attended by SSU dean of the faculty of Engineering, associate professor Ulduz Aghayev, head of the Scientific department associate professor Samir Orujov, head of the Quality Assurance department Narmin Hasanova, director of the Strategic Development Center associate professor Gunel Pashayeva, and dean of the faculty of Engineering by BHOS Sevda Zergarova, head of the Educational Methodological department, Rima Guliyeva, superior of  Quality Assurance department  Guldena Hidayatli, deputy dean of the faculty of Continuing Education Bagchagul Imanova.

During the meeting, the SSU delegation inspected the spacious, modern teaching laboratories, gymnasium and student house of BHOS.

Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR and Sumgayit State University exchanged views on the directions of cooperation reflected in the memorandum of understanding - preparation of teaching-methodical materials, conducting joint scientific-researches on various relevant topics, development and implementation of innovative projects. The main priority issues were: developing international relations within the framework of joint cooperation, providing mutual support in this field, holding trainings and trainings in accordance with the directions of the parties' activities, as well as mutual involvement of employees and students in relevant educational courses and trainings to increase their knowledge and skills in the necessary specialties. In addition, the issues of holding joint conferences, seminars, round tables and other scientific events on various current topics, mutual involvement of the leading professors and teachers of the parties in conducting lectures, seminars and laboratory classes in relevant teaching-learning processes were discussed.
