SSU STUDENTS WERE AWARDED DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES AT THE II DIGITAL IDEA COMPETITION
On June 17, II Digital Idea Competitions dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev "Promoting Heydar Aliyev's legacy in innovative solutions" were held under the joint organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Central Office, NAP Youth Union and Baku Higher Oil School.
For your information, 1372 young people from 63 administrative territorial units of our republic applied for this competition, in which SSU students also participated. 120 of them were selected and competed in 30 different teams.
The participants took part in the competition "Karabakh dream" team building activity, "Always in our memory" digital solution concept, "Exemplary life" intellectual round and "On the threshold of 100 years" historical facts. They competed with special mentors to be the best in team competitions organized from team catalyst, hackathon, brainstorming, ideas exhibition and project presentation. 10 out of 30 teams qualified for the finals. 3 winning teams were determined by the jury.
At the end of the competition, the "Istiglal" team was awarded the 2nd place with the participation Laman Balabeyova, student of group 427 of the faculty of Mathematics of SSU. Team members were awarded with diplomas and souvenirs. Our other students who participated in the competition were awarded with certificates.
On June 19, the vice-rector on Social affairs and public relations of the university, associate professor Elmar Khalilov, received the students participating in the competition and congratulated them on behalf of the university management and wished them success.
