THE TRAININGS FOR THE MENTOR WORKING GROUP WERE STARTED IN THE SCIENTIFIC DEPARTMENT
The decisions of the meeting dated 09.06.2023 (protocol No. 10) of the Rectorate of Sumgayit State University on July 7 in order to create a profile of scientists and researchers of SSU, including the university, in the Scientific Reference Databases, in the Scientific department training was conducted for the mentor working group created according to the order of rector professor Elkhan Huseynov No. R-35/1 dated 06.07.2023.
During the training, the head of the Scientific department, associate professor Samir Orujov, brought to the attention of the members of the working group created for this purpose the rules for making a personal profile in the Web of Science and Scopus international databases, and obtaining digital identification codes for researchers, Author ID and Researcher ID. During the training, associate professor Samir Orujov talked about the importance of obtaining identification codes for our university to take a suitable place in the international rating systems, and answered the questions in detail.
It was noted that the participants of the training should bring the information they have obtained to the attention of the employees of the faculty where they work and support their registration.
The next training of the working group is planned to be held on 10.07.2023.
