THE EMPLOYEES OF SSU PARTICIPATED IN THE PRESENTATION OF RESIDENT COMPANIES OF "SILICON VALLEY BAKU" CENTER AT ATU
On July 12, an event dedicated to the presentation of the resident companies of the "Silicon Valley Baku" Center was held at ATU. In addition to representatives of more than 15 higher educational institutions, Sumgayit State University employees - professor Javanshir Mammadov, head of the department of Automation and management, associate professor Samir Orujov, head of the Scientific department, as well as Said Aliyev, a first-year student of the faculty of Chemistry and biology, mentor of the Innovation and Creativity Center, attended in the the event.
Rector of ATU, professor Vilayat Valiyev, speaking about the cooperation between the university and the Silicon Valley, said that it is an important event that the center of the Silicon Valley started to operate in Baku after Izmir. The rector noted that "Silicon Valley Baku" Center operates at ATU. Important projects for the development of university-industry cooperation will be implemented in the center. Other universities that want to implement projects in the fields of international technology marketing, technological research and transfer activities, software, design, research and development will also cooperate with the "Silicon Valley Baku" Center.
Later, presentations of resident companies of "Silicon Valley Baku" were held. After the question-and-answer presentations, the guests got acquainted with the ATU campus.
