THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A NEW LABORATORY STAND WAS STARTED IN THE DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING OF SSU
Recently, based on the strategic development plan of Sumgayit State University, important works are being carried out in the direction of reconstruction, improvement and quality improvement of the educational process according to modern international standards.
In order to increase the level of personnel training in the Process automation engineering specialty at the department of Automation and management of the faculty of Engineering of SSU, modern laboratory stands were purchased by the university and made available to students.
The purpose of this laboratory stand is the practical implementation of the subjects taught in the specialization of Process Automation Engineering, the acquisition of practical skills in students, and the implementation of scientific-research works.
The flow, level, pressure and temperature control (PISSTTT) intelligent laboratory stand for process control was developed by the Spanish company EDIBON.
The PISSTTT intelligent laboratory stand, which meets modern requirements, allows you to learn theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills reflecting the basics of technological process automation and control systems, the functions and configuration of used devices, their management strategies and design.
The PISSTT intellectual laboratory stand developed by the EDIBON company provides students studying in Process automation with industrial automation, regulation techniques, technological measurements, etc.
The PISSTTT intelligent laboratory stand consists of a hot and cold water circuit and a heat exchanger that transfers heat between both circuits.
When the three-phase pump moves the liquid from the tank to the upper tank in the liquid circuit, it measures its consumption, pressure, level and temperature and controls it by means of a control valve.
Programmable logic controller (PMC), various types of sensors, communication lines, PID controller and execution mechanism are used to perform the work of the control circuits to the PISSTTT block. In the laboratory stand, control and management of liquid level, temperature, pressure and consumption are carried out by means of PMK.
