"ALCO" WILL SELECT EMPLOYEES FOR CERTAIN SPECIALTIES FROM AMONG SSU STUDENTS
A group of executives representing "ALCO" LLC met with students studying in the last year of Sumgayit State University.
The meeting held in the Great Assembly Hall of the University was opened by Sabir Behbudov, head of the SSU educational department, and greeted the guests.
Sabir Behbudov conveyed the purpose of the event to the students and informed about the activities of "ALCO" LLC operating in Sumgait city.
A few days ago, at the invitation of the company, the rector of the university PhD.in chemistry Rufat Azizov and the management of the higher educational institution visited "ALCO" LLC, viewed the production process with the management staff, as well as the general director Dunay Khasay, and talked with the employees.
Rector Rufat Azizov and guests were informed that the plant, which started production in 2017 with the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park LLC (SCIP), has an annual production capacity of 36,000 tons. It was reported that the oils produced with the help of special base oil and additives from well-known manufacturers such as "Evonik", "Infineum", "BASF", "BRB", Evonik” differ in their variety.
The company mainly produces engine, industrial, hydraulic, compressor, turbine, transmission and ship oils, especially aviation oil, currently "ALCO" exports goods to more than 50 foreign countries, including Europe, CIS and Asia. It was said that the company is sensitive to personnel selection, and its motto is "To produce quality products with highly qualified personnel, using high-performance additives and base oil in the most modern technologies."
Rector of SSU Rufat Azizov spoke about the work done in the university to increase the scientific potential of students studying engineering, and to prepare them as high-quality specialists, and noted that he believes that SSU students can find a place in a serious manufacturing company like "ALCO".
Saida Zeynalova, deputy director general of "ALCO" LLC, who spoke about this at a meeting with students at SSU, thanked for the conditions created for the meeting and expressed her confidence that the new cooperation with SSU will be fruitful.
Saida Zeynalova said that she believes that they can choose the engineers, operators, logistics and other specialists needed for the enterprise from among the students and graduates of the university, and that they are waiting for applications from students who are confident in their potential.

Ayten Aliyeva, R&D and Design engineer of "ALCO" LLC, pointed out that she, like the students in the hall, once started working after applying and passing an interview. Stating that the lubricants produced by the enterprise he represents are exported to about 50 countries under the name "Made in Azerbaijan", the design engineer recalled that the engineering, economics and chemistry faculties participated in the meeting: "The required jobs are related to these specialties and I hope that "SSU students will successfully participate in the selection interviews at our institution in February of next year."
Aytan Aliyeva noted that among the offered jobs are the positions of locksmith, laborer, filling and production operator, and emphasized that during the selection, in addition to knowledge and literacy, discipline, honesty, and creative qualities are preferred among the applicants.
