THE PRESENTATION OF THE FILM "PROTECTORS ON THE PATH OF THE MOTHERLAND" WAS HELD AT SSU
On October 20, the presentation of the film "Protectors on the Path of the Motherland" dedicated to the memory of Vusal Muradov and Azad Khumbatov, who rose to the peak of martyrdom in the Patriotic War, was held in the Grand Assembly Hall of Sumgayit State University.
Before the presentation, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played. The memory of the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then, with the financial support of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations and the organization Care for Martyrs" Families, there was a presentation of the film "Protectors on the path of the motherland".
After the presentation, the Chairman of the Care for Martyrs" Families Society, Mushfiq Aliyev, expressed his gratitude to SSU rector Mr. Rufat Azizov and the professor-teacher and student staff of the university for their support during the presentation of the film. The chairman pointed out that the screening of the film will be held in Baku and other regions of our republic.
The the father of the hero of the Patriotic War, Arif Humbatov, expressed his gratitude to the President of the country, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, for the high respect shown to the memory of his son Azad Humbatov, and expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked hard to organize today"s event.
The father of the martyr lieutenant Vusal Muradov, who gave a speech, expressed his gratitude to everyone who appreciated the services of our martyrs in the person of his son, and reminded that the territorial integrity of our country was restored as a result of their heroism. Jasarat Muradov expressed his gratitude to everyone.
In his speech, vice-rector for Social affairs and public relations of the University, associate professor Elmar Khalilov greeted the participants of the event - families of martyrs, veterans and war participants on behalf of SSU rector Rufat Azizov. He spoke about the importance of such projects implemented for the purpose of perpetuating the memory of the martyrs, and expressed his gratitude to the creative team of the film. In this direction, he spoke about the educational work carried out in the spirit of patriotism at Sumgayit State University, and the measures implemented to introduce the martyrs to future generations.
At the end of the event, Chairman of the Care for Martyrs" Families Society, Mushfiq Aliyev, announced that a number of event participants, including vice-rector Elmar Khalilov, were awarded with the public association badge.
