A BOOK EXHIBITION WAS ORGANIZED AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOLOGY OF SSU
On October 23, a book exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev was held in the 3rd educational building of Sumgait State University, jointly organized by the faculty of Philology and Sumgait Central Library named after Samad Vurgun. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founder of the independent Azerbaijan state, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, students and teaching staff of the faculty participated in the exhibition organized in connection with the declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Books depicting his life and activities were displayed at the exhibition dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev under the title "World Famous Politician". More than 150 copies of books and periodical editions were displayed in the exhibition, as well as interesting books covering various fields of science that were newly included in the library's collection. Employees of the library gave the participants detailed information about the books displayed in the exhibition and answered their questions.
It should be noted that the exhibition was met with great interest by the participants.
