On October 25, 2023, at the Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, a forum was held in the framework of the project "High Technology Park Operation Program: Implementation and Capacity Building" jointly implemented by the High Technology Park of the Ministry of Science and Education and the Science and Technology Park Institute of South Korea (STPİ).

Eun Joo Kim, senior researcher of STPİ, project coordinator, who opened the forum with the opening speech, said that in the last 7 years, consultations with 12 countries on science, technology and innovation policy, including 16 projects on capacity building, have been implemented with the partnership of the institute she notified. The project coordinator also noted that Azerbaijan is the only country in the South Caucasus region, among the CIS countries, that benefits from these opportunities and has the status of the country that implements the most projects. After that, discussions and proposals were heard within the framework of the project. At the forum, Associate Professor Logman Abdullayev, Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting of Sumgayit State University, expressed his views on the commercialization of the results of scientific research. Our employee, who suggested holding trainings in the regions on the project implemented by South Korea's STPI and MSERA HTP, gave detailed information about the industrial potential of Sumgait city. He noted that as a result of ATM and entrepreneurial activity, the application of scientific research in production and the implementation of works in the direction of commercialization of scientific results can be a successful outcome.

The project coordinators accepted the proposal positively and expressed their interest in cooperation on the subject.
