A Student of SSU Participated in a Public Hearing in the Milli Majlis
On October 31, a public hearing on "Toponyms of Western Azerbaijan: from the distortion of history to the restoration of justice" was held in the Milli Majlis under the organization of the Regional Affairs Committee. Deputies of the Milli Majlis, representatives of the Presidential Administration, ANAS, Ministry of Justice, members of the Toponymy Commission under the Milli Majlis, members of the Western Azerbaijan Community, legal scholars and researchers, as well as representatives of municipalities, civil society and experts took part in the event.
Musa Khalilov, the 4th year student of the faculty of Physics and electroenergetics of the university, who addressed his questions about the toponyms of Western Azerbaijan during the discussions at the conference titled "Role of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in promoting the heritage of Western Azerbaijan" at the public hearing at Sumgayit State University, also participated by invitation.
