An Info Session Was Organızed At SSU On The Initiative Of ‘ASAN Service’ Center
On November 22, at Sumgayit State University, an info session was organized for university students on the topic ‘Promotion of volunteering’ at the initiative of the State Agency for Service to Citizens and Social Innovations - Sumgayit regional center No. 2 ‘ASAN service’.
In the information session organized to promote volunteering, to make speeches on motivational topics related to student volunteering, personal development, to visually show the successes of young people who started their careers related to volunteering, to increase the number of volunteer applications in the field of social services and to increase the interest of young people in this field.
Infosession No. 2 Sumgayit Regional ‘ASAN Service’ Center was held with the participation of Turkan Kahramanova a senior specialist in the sector of organization of citizens' reception, deputy director Konul Karimova, volunteers manager, Citizen reception organization Sector Manager Sanan Sadigov, Citizen Reception Organization Sector Specialist Rashida Talibli.
Today young volunteers are widely involved in activities in all spheres of public life, including public administration, the responsible person said that every year hundreds of young people voluntarily come to ‘ASAN service’ centers and strengthen their work abilities and intelligence levels.The mutual cooperation creates opportunities for the students of the university to be employed in ‘ASAN xidmət’ in the future, both in the volunteer organization and in government structures, the speaker emphasized: ‘ASAN xidmət is received with great interest by international partners and experts as a brand of Azerbaijan’.

Nasiba Amirbeyova, head of SSU Career and graduate employment center, stated that the activity of volunteers has been widely used since the establishment of ‘ASAN service’ centers, and emphasized that ‘ASAN service’ and its volunteers have a great share in the formation and growth of the volunteering movement in our country: is a school of practice that has contributed to politics’.
