The next meeting of Scientific Council was held. The chairman of the Scientific Council Elkhan Huseynov greeted the members of Council.The  rector spoke about the achievements of the university. He informed about the opening of the forum between the universities of Azerbaijan and Russia. Our  university signed a cooperation contract with Ufa State Oil Technology  University and Samara. StateTecnology University  and others. The rector told that the year 2015 was the successful year for our university and assured that our university would get big successes by its collective. The head of Scientific Department docent Anar Namazov stated that in 2015 there were planned and fulfilled scientific researches dealing with nature and techologial sciences. Three numbers of Scientific news magazine according to nature and technical sciences, social and humanitarian sciences were published, the fourth number will be published till the end of the year.The chief of Student Scientific Society docent Islam Pashayev highlighted that more than 656 students are the members of Students Scientific Society. Leading by professor Javanshir Mammadov our three students were awarded with a certificate in the international Youth Forum which was held in Voronej State Forest Technologial University. Then the director of Educational Methodical Centre Isabal Qurbanov spoke about the condition of the preparation autumn exams sessions of 2015/2016. Scientific Council summed up its work with the discussion of current problems.
