SSU STUDENTS VOLUNTEERİNG THROUGH THE ERASMUS+ WİLL PARTİCİPATE İN THE PROGRAM
On December 4, within the framework of the "Erasmus+" program for SSU students, "Informing young people about international opportunities and training in Europe, as well as how to apply for projects?" an info session was organized.
Welcoming the participants of the event on behalf of SSU Rector Rufat Azizov, Vice Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations Elmar Khalilov noted the importance of similar events for modern Azerbaijani youth, as well as for students from the progressive class of any youth. Talking about the contours of the youth policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev after the restoration of our independence in Azerbaijan, the vice-rector stated that this policy aims to share values with the progressive countries of the world, including the European geography: ‘This will speak for the fate of each of you as an individual, our society and our state, as well as our university, whose name is forever engraved in your biography.’
Then Sevinj Gasimova, the chairman of "Saglam Dushunce" Youth Organization, the director of YDCC Absheron-Khizi regional office, as a volunteer, made a presentation about the application rules, required documents and program selection criteria for the projects of the countries included in the European Union. it is possible to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Erasmus+ program operating in our country, thereby becoming a participant in training and projects in European countries.
Various questions raised in the information session were answered with great interest and activity of the students.
