AN INFO SESSION ABOUT THE "CODE FOR FUTURE" EDUCATIONAL PROJECT WAS ORGANIZED AT SSU
On December 6, an info session was organized for the students of Sumgayit State University about the "Code for future" project jointly implemented by "Code Academy" and the Ministry of Science and Education.
Speaking at the event, the university's vice-rector for social issues and public relations, associate professor Elmar Khalilov, spoke about the importance of the project for students. He said that the main goal of SSU today is to educate students as specialists with sufficient knowledge and skills in language and information technologies (IT) at a high level and according to the requirements of the time. In this regard, the project is great importance for students and will have a positive effect on their future activities.
Shahriyar Mammadli, education manager of the "Code For Future" project, gave detailed information about the purpose of the project and the works carried out within the framework of the project. Students who want to participate in the project will be invited to the entrance exam. Those who successfully pass the exam will be involved in teaching. At the end of the project, students who have successfully completed the training will have the opportunity to receive an international certificate and a diploma of the "Code Academy" company.
Shahriyar Mammadli also pointed out that the registration for Sumgait city will be done online from December 6 to 12.
Elshad Abdullayev, adviser to the Rector of SSU, spoke to the students about the importance of the project, its advantages in the formation of personnel in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, and advised them to benefit from "Code Academy".
At the end of the event, the participants' questions were answered and a broad exchange of ideas was held.
