AN İNTELLECTUAL COMPETİTİON WAS HELD AT SSU
On December 9, an intellectual competition was held among students dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, under the joint organization of the Student Trade Union Committee and the Student Youth Organization at Sumgayit State University.
Associate Professor Elmar Khalilov, Vice Rector for Social Affairs and Public Relations of the University, greeted the participants and said that within the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" contests and competitions are held at Sumgayit State University, holding such competitions is highly commendable.
The main goal of today's knowledge competition is to contribute to a deeper study of the legacy of the Great Leader by students.
In the competition, which serves to raise the intellectual level of young people, various questions about the life and activities of the Great Leader were presented.
Among the winners of the competition, which continued in three stages, the team of the Faculty of History and Geography took the first place, the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management took the second place, and the team of the Faculty of Philology took the third place.
